As the temperature drops, many users have turned on wall mounted boilers for heating. During use, the gas pressure value of the wall mounted boiler will fluctuate with the increase/decrease of natural gas usage by regional users. During the heating season, the natural gas pressure in the pipeline is generally lower, while in summer, with less natural gas usage, the natural gas pressure in the pipeline is slightly higher. However, as long as it is around 2000Pa according to the national standard for wall mounted boilers, there is no need to worry. If it is too high/too low, it will affect the normal use of the wall mounted boiler.

1、 Gas pressure too high

When the gas pressure value is too high and exceeds the adjustable range of the wall mounted boiler gas proportional valve, it may cause the wall mounted boiler to fail to ignite normally; Or it may cause the actual heating gas input power of the wall mounted boiler to increase, the exhaust temperature to rise, the operating noise to increase, and to some extent, it will also affect the service life of the wall mounted boiler.

At the same time, excessive gas pressure can also reduce the comfort of users' use of hot water in daily life. The amount of gas entering the wall mounted boiler per unit time increases, and the temperature of the hot water in daily life will exceed the set temperature in a short period of time, making it difficult to control. The wall mounted boiler is prone to shutdown protection.

Solution: If the gas pressure is within the adjustable range of the wall mounted boiler, the gas proportional valve can be adjusted to control the magnitude of the firepower; Control water temperature by increasing water flow rate.

2、 Low gas pressure

If the gas pressure is too low, it will cause the wall mounted boiler to ignite when starting, but after a short period of operation, if the pressure is insufficient, the wall mounted boiler will shut down; The wall mounted boiler cannot reach the rated design power, and the time for heating/domestic hot water to reach the set temperature will be extended, and even the domestic hot water function cannot be activated, affecting normal use.

Solution: Contact the gas company for pressure measurement, check whether the pipeline is blocked or leaking, and carry out professional maintenance to ensure that the air pressure is normal.
