Wall mounted boiler heating has become an essential product in severe winter, but as the temperature drops, the boiler may freeze and break down. Once this occurs, it not only affects the normal heating of the home, but also incurs significant maintenance costs. Therefore, the anti freezing work of wall mounted boilers must be taken seriously!

The temperature is low, and water is prone to freeze and expand. As is well known, wall mounted boilers are connected to a water circulation system. Once frozen, the wall mounted boiler and its piping system may be damaged. In addition, when the climate warms up slightly, ice melts into water, which may cause secondary injuries such as water leakage and seepage.

All series products of Simondi wall mounted boilers have three-level antifreeze function, but the wall mounted boiler needs to be kept in an electrified state to ensure normal gas supply and stable water pressure between 1-2 bar. Only when these three conditions are met can the antifreeze function of the wall mounted boiler be used normally.

All series of Simondi wall mounted boilers have heating temperature sensors:,

When the heating water temperature is below 8 ° C, the first level antifreeze is activated, the water pump runs automatically, and the heating system water circulates to prevent icing;

When the heating water temperature is below 5 ° C, the secondary antifreeze is activated, and the wall mounted boiler automatically ignites and burns. After the heating system water temperature reaches 30 ° C, the machine automatically shuts down;

When the heating water temperature is below 3 ° C, start the third level antifreeze. At this time, the wall mounted boiler will be locked and an E7 antifreeze fault will be reported. When the temperature returns to above 3 ° C, press the reset button to unlock it.

If there is no one at home for a short or long time in the Ximondi fully premixed condensing wall mounted boiler, the following measures can be taken for protection:

If there is no one at home for 1-2 days, the heating temperature can be lowered to around 40 ° C or turned off directly, but do not cut off the power or gas.

If it is a week, it is recommended to shut down the wall mounted boiler and be careful not to cut off the power! Simultaneously turn off the gas, so that the wall mounted boiler still has a first level anti freezing protection, which can prevent damage to the wall mounted boiler and protect other indoor water equipment, such as underfloor heating pipes and radiators.

If there is no one at home for a long time, close the doors and windows in advance to prevent the indoor temperature from being too low and freezing the radiator and piping system. At the same time, it is recommended to completely drain the water inside the wall mounted boiler, including the water in domestic water and the water in the heating system, as unexpected situations such as natural gas outages may occur. Therefore, it is safer to drain the water completely.

【 Warm Reminder 】

If the anti freezing fault of the wall mounted boiler E7 cannot be repaired, or if the wall mounted boiler freezes due to untimely anti freezing measures, please close the inlet valve of the wall mounted boiler first. Do not force the wall mounted boiler to open. Contact professional after-sales personnel for maintenance and repair in a timely manner to avoid danger.
